The day included a visit to his solo exhibit at Ace Gallery, the portrait session in the Chateau Marmont and a visit to his home in Los Angeles. What an exceptional experience. Meeting a celebrated outsider who understood film, art and photography from the inside; whose lifetime of professionalism gave him rise to an arresting blend of style and artistry; whose variety of experience is incomparable; and who was so uniquely likeable. It was a gift to meet you Dennis. Thank you.
